The UBN Seven is certainly a beauty, and definitely counts as ‘premium’ in the world of e-bikes.
It boasts a contemporary linear frame design that perfectly integrates the Fazua drive system. The optimum positioning of the motor and battery is almost imperceptible within the frame, ensuring you enjoy a natural riding experience.
The slightly lowered top tube for comfortable mounting and dismounting sets the UBN Seven apart. The battery can easily be removed from the bike for charging – but it can also be charged through the charging socket when fitted to the bike.
The perfectly coordinated Fazua Ride 60 drive system delivers powerful support with up to 60 Nm of torque and up to 450 watts – the highest power density in its class. It is lightweight but powerful, making it great for urban riding. The system also decouples completely when you reach the legal speed limit and you have no additional pedal resistance.
The UBN range is designed to be simple, so there’s a reduced number of additional options (which should help make choosing your bike easier!). You can add the comfort kit if you’d prefer a classically curved handlebar and a wider saddle, but this isn’t essential.
I’d opt for the suspension upgrade, though. The Suntour GVX32 suspension fork will help cushion the impact of cobblestones and potholes that, as we all know, can be so painful when you hit them at speed.
And finally, get the frame lock. It’ll give you that extra bit of security when locking your beautiful new bike up in the city.
