Don’t get us wrong, we love the feeling of flying along a completely flat, completely smooth and completely crowd-free road on our Riese & Müller bikes; and we’re sure our bikes quite enjoy it too.
Of course, it’s all very well having an electric bike that performs well in near-perfect conditions, but how do they fare on rocky, mountainous terrain, the air thick with fog and the paths thick with people? EDEMO’s Dan and Rufus wanted to find out.
After much deliberation it was decided that Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, was to be their guinea pig. With 3,560ft of climbing, uneven ground the whole way up and around 350,000 visitors per year, it was the perfect testing facility – especially on a mid-autumn day.
