Dan has been at Eurobike 2025 where Bosch has unveiled the Performance Line PX, a mid-drive motor designed to bridge the gap between the lightweight Performance Line SX and the robust Performance Line CX. Delivering up to 90 Nm of torque and 700 W of peak power, the PX offers a harmonious blend of power and smoothness, tailored for trekking, touring, and SUV-style e-bikes. Weighing approximately 2.9 kg, it integrates with Bosch’s Smart System, offering features such as hill start assist and customizable support levels via the Bosch Flow app.
It’s early days for assessing how this fits into Bosch’s range, but they seem to be aiming it at trekking and adventure bikes, offering plenty of power and torque, with an emphasis on performance, while also improving the quietness of the motor.Â
