The Riese & Müller Delite5 is almost here—arriving this week—and we’re super excited that this incredible bike is making its debut just in time for spring adventures. Here are five things you might not know about this exciting new model:
1. Raised Bottom Bracket & Shorter Cranks for Enhanced Clearance
The Delite5’s bottom bracket height has been increased to 32.5 cm from the Delite4’s 31 cm. Additionally, the Delite5 features shorter 165 mm cranks, compared to the Delite4’s 170 mm cranks. These enhancements provide better obstacle clearance and reduce the risk of pedal strikes, making the Delite5 ideal for tackling rugged terrains.

2. Shorter Chainstays for Improved Agility
With shorter 49.5 cm chainstays, the Delite5 is more agile than the Delite4, which had 50 cm chainstays. This reduction enhances manoeuvrability, offering a more responsive and engaging riding experience.
3. Upgraded Fox Suspension and X-Fusion Manic Dropper Post as Standard
The Delite5 comes equipped with high-quality suspension components to enhance ride comfort and control:
Front Suspension: The Fox AWL 34 Air suspension fork has 120 mm travel and provides excellent shock absorption on various terrains.
Rear Suspension: Fox Float Rhythm SV rear shock measuring 165×45 mm, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride.
Additionally, the bike features the X-Fusion Manic 100 dropper seat post, which allows riders to adjust saddle height quickly and easily on the fly, especially when transitioning between different terrains.
4. RX Chip Included for Enhanced Connectivity
Each Delite5 is fitted with Riese & Müller’s RX Chip as standard, providing GPS tracking and access to digital services like ride analytics and maintenance alerts. Perhaps best of all, the RX Chip includes built-in tracking and an alarm system, significantly enhancing bike security and peace of mind.

5. Increased Carrying Capacity
The Delite5’s rear rack supports up to 27 kg, an improvement from the Delite4’s 20 kg limit. This enhancement makes it more suitable for carrying heavier loads, whether for commuting or touring.
